Faridabad which was a very small township 3 decades ago in now fast turning into a large metropolitan city in its own right.  The City has seen phenomenal development in the last decade and it is expected that the population of the city is set to double itself in the coming ten years from the current 2 million inhabitants to 4 million inhabitants. Naturally it necessitates the construction of a lot of residential accommodation and keeping this in mind the Government has acquired 35000 acres of land to facilitate this growth. Many new companies have bought the land to start residential projects in different categories in the city. Both central and state governments are involved in the promotion of construction projects under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana and under the Deen Dayal Jan Awas Yojana.  The second one promotes the development of high density plotted colonies in medium and low potential towns of Haryana. We will now take a look at the 3 best projects of affordable plots in Faridabad. 


Puri Kohinoor sector 89 Faridabad is the first project which we would suggest.  This project being developed is one consisting of 274 residential plots in Faridabad sector 89 and being developed and marketed under the affordable housing scheme, the Deen Dayal Jan Awas Yojana. The plots in Puri Kohinoor are being made available in sizes ranging from 100 sq yards to 180 sq. yards.  These residential and affordable plots Faridabad are all passed for the constructions of stilt plus 4 floor structures allowing for the individual registration of these individually constructed floors too making these very suitable for nodal large families as well as for the smaller builders of Luxury floors.  The project is being marketed and presented as a walled and gated independent community. 


The second Project is by the Amolik Group  in sector 98.  The Amolik group has a new project of residential plots in Faridabad sector 98. This project is being introduced and marketed under the terms and conditions of the Haryana Governments Deen Dayal Jan Awas Yojana to provide affordable homes to the  middle class community of Faridabad. The project contains 600+ residential plots available in sizes ranging from 100 sa.yards to 173 sq.yards and are all passed for the construction of structures of Stilt + 4 floors.  This is one of the largest projects of the company and is to be a walled and gated community independent in itself. 


The third and final project we take is the project by Soha Developers Pvt. Ltd and is known as Neal City. Neal city is spread out over almost 14 acres of land in one of the greenest sectors of Faridabad. It is close to the green belt and the area has been divided into 245 plots in different sizes ranging from 110 sq. yards to 180 sq. yards. These plots have been sanctioned and presented under the Government of Haryana scheme the Deen Dayal Jan Awas Yojana for providing affordable homes to the urban poor in the State. The plots under this scheme are passed for the construction of stilt + 4 floor structures and are highly suited for the construction of builder floors. 


The price of these plots in Faridabad is presently in the range of 40000 to 75000 per square yard. A subsidy by the Deen Dayal Jan Awas Yojana is also available and bank loans can be applied for too.
